Terms of Use
Effective date: 2 July 2026 · Baseline (the “App”)
These terms are an agreement between you and Toby Dadson (“we”, “us”), the operator of Baseline. By creating an account or using the App you agree to them.
1. What Baseline is (and isn't)
- Baseline provides training plans, workout logging, recovery insights, and nutrition tools for field hockey players.
- Baseline is not medical advice. Training suggestions — including AI-generated plans — are general fitness content. Consult a qualified professional before starting a new programme, especially if you have an injury or medical condition.
- You train at your own risk. Stop if something hurts, and use appropriate equipment and supervision for heavy lifting.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 to use Baseline.
- Keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in the App (Me → Delete account).
3. Acceptable use
- Don't misuse the App: no attempts to access other users' data, disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it to build a competing dataset.
- AI features have fair-use rate limits to keep the service available for everyone.
4. Your content
You own the data you log. You grant us the limited licence needed to store and process it to provide the App's features, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party services
Connections to Apple Health and WHOOP are optional and governed by their own terms. WHOOP is a trademark of WHOOP, Inc.; Baseline is not affiliated with WHOOP, Inc. or Apple Inc.
6. Pricing
Baseline is currently free while in early access. If we introduce paid subscriptions, pricing will be shown clearly in the App before you're charged, and these terms will be updated.
7. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Baseline running, but it's provided “as is”, without warranties, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses; our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months (currently nil while free).
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
